Datacloud Awards Asia 2018

Category 1: Data Centre Leader of the Year (Award will be given by the Judges Panel)

This Award will be given by the Judges Panel to the leader of a company nominated for one of the other Awards.

Category 2: Cloud Leader of the Year (Award will be given by the Judges Panel)

This Award will be given by the Judges Panel to the leader of a company nominated for one of the other Awards.

Category 3: Excellence in Data Centre Service Award: Asia

Nominate

Awarded for excellence in operations in multiple markets

Criteria:

  1. Who built the data centre? How do your data centre services deliver excellence? Provide evidence/examples
  2. What makes your operation innovative in or market leading services?
  3. What benefits do your customers achieve in using your excellent data centre services?

Category 4: Excellence in Data Centre Service Award: South East Asia

Nominate

Awarded for excellence in operations in regional markets

Criteria:

  1. Who built the data centre? How do your data centre services deliver excellence? Provide evidence/examples
  2. What makes your operation innovative in or market leading services?
  3. What benefits do your customers achieve in using your excellent data centre services?

Category 5: Best Data Centre Energy Solution Award 2018

Nominate

Excellence in the total concept of energy use in data centres

Criteria:

  1. What were the challenges confronted and how were they overcome by the solution?
  2. Describe briefly the innovation achieved and best in class processes used in driving the best solution that resonates across the entire sector because of its impact.
  3. Demonstrate why the energy solution is fundamentally different from others and its environmental benefits.

Category 6: Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility - Company of the Year

Nominate

Excellence in leading and implementing CSR

Criteria:

  1. How embedded is CSR in your business model?
  2. How does the company meet its CSR requirements in the use of data centres
  3. Please demonstrate examples of excellence when judged against your peers and beyond

Category 7: Data Centre Above and Beyond Award

Nominate

Recognizing excellence in exceeding value goals for customers through services or solutions

Criteria:

  1. How did you go about it? What did you do?
  2. In what way did your service or product go beyond the call of duty?
  3. What was the outcome? What difference was made through the service or solution?

Category 8: Excellence in Data Centre IT Architecture and Design Award

Nominate

Defining excellence in IT architecture of Data Centres, Edge or Micro Data Centres

Criteria:

  1. The IT architecture and design must have brought demonstrable benefit in either customer experience, operational savings or increased availability. The benefits must be fully explained.
  2. The IT architecture and design must be different. It must be new, not only to the organisation, but to the industry.
  3. The outcome of the introduction of the IT architecture and cutting-edge design must be demonstrable and measurable.

Category 9: Data Centre Location Award

Nominate

Recognizing excellence in the Location for data centres in Asia

Criteria:

  1. Explain why data centre/cloud investment is important to your region or location.
  2. Outline the plans you have made to ensure that your location is attractive to operators and cloud services providers in terms of geographic location, fibre infrastructure and connectivity, energy availability, taxation and skills pool.
  3. Explain why your location is uniquely competitive.

Category 10: Connectivity Provider of the Year Award

Nominate

Excellence in delivering superior user experience

Criteria:

  1. Provide evidence of quantifiable, proven ability to deliver innovative, ultra-high scale connectivity demanded by today's cloud users
  2. Describe how you meet or exceed the most stringent user demand for availability and latency
  3. Demonstrate the delivery of excellent business effectiveness, cost effectiveness, business agility and high levels of customer experience to users

Category 11: Best programme for Data Centre training and professional development

Nominate

Recognizing industry leadership in people

Criteria:

  1. What is excellent about your data centre training? Provide evidence or examples.
  2. How do your professional development programmes deliver the best workforce in the industry?
  3. What steps are you taking to promote a career in Data Centres and how are you encouraging people to join our industry?

Category 12: Excellence in Cloud Service Award Asia

Recognizing outstanding performance in delivering cloud services in multiple markets

Criteria:

  1. What is excellent about your cloud service that you are able to cloud-scale and deliver permanent uptime since you launched it? Provide evidence / examples.
  2. What was the demand that your cloud service was designed to fulfil? How does it scale?
  3. Why is it different from other cloud services?

Category 13: Excellence in Cloud Service Award South East Asia

Recognizing outstanding performance in delivering cloud services in regional markets

Criteria:

Recognizing outstanding marketing contribution in the data centre and cloud industry

Criteria:

  1. How has the nominee contributed to communicating, connecting with customers, brand building and being the best?
  2. Describe how the nominee has contributed significantly to the growth, visibility and advancement of the industry.
  3. How has the nominee introduced a new innovative marketing approach or new service or added value to the company?

Category 16: Individual Industry Contribution – Ambassador Award

Criteria:

  1. How has the nominee gained demonstrable achievement in managing data centre/cloud businesses over the past five years?
  2. How has the nominee achieved excellence in communications within the industry?
